Employee Spotlight: Steven Turner

Steven has been with eCore for 12 years, earning him the position of Executive VP. In his role, he gets to help shape eCore’s future while serving clients and our team. One of Steven’s greatest strengths is the ability to quickly assess client’s needs and deliver creative solutions to help them solve the most troublesome issues.

Why do you love working at eCore?

I’ve been with eCore for around 12 years now, and there has always been opportunity to grow and learn new things. I’ve never felt pigeonholed or limited when it comes to adding value to the company in various areas of the business. I also love the people. We have the best team we have ever had in the history of the company. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this team. Our clients are amazing people to work with as well.

 

What is the best part of your job?

As Executive VP, I get to help shape eCore’s future while serving our clients, prospective clients and the eCore team. I’m a service-oriented person, and my idea of good leadership involves getting my hands dirty and working side by side with the team.

 

What does a day at eCore look like for you?

My days usually consist of planning, meetings with various departments, retention efforts, demos, sales work, meeting with clients, and helping with support issues. It’s a mixed bag depending on the day and what happens to come up! It’s never boring!

 

What unique element do you bring to eCore?

I feel one of my greatest strengths is the ability to quickly assess clients’ needs and deliver creative solutions to help them get where they need to go.

 

What is your favorite feature on ePro Scheduler?

I love the Direct Response feature where users can page out open shifts and get responses back from employees quickly. It’s always a winner in demos, and I believe it saves a lot of our clients a great deal of time.

 

Why do you love working with the EMS industry?

The people I’ve encountered in the industry are fantastic people that want to do the best job they can in serving their communities. It feels good to take care of the people that are taking care of everyone else.
