Scheduling Features
ePro Scheduler provides an advanced method for building schedules based on pre-configured profiles.  The software ensures that employees are qualified to work assigned shifts and that their credentials are not expired.  The schedule can be published for employees to view.  It is easy to manage schedules on a day-to-day basis with the rich set of scheduling tools.
The list below describes the primary scheduling features of ePro Scheduler.
Schedule Autofill
The "Autofill" function staffs the schedule with qualified employees that have up-to-date certifications. Pre-approved vacation requests are

automatically inserted.  Unit profiles can be configured to fill any rotational pattern starting on any day.  Any repeating rotation can be automatically staffed by ePro Scheduler's industry leading "Autofill" engine.
eCore guarentees that the "Autofill" engine can schedule your rotations
Day-To-Day Schedule Management
For most operations, the weekly schedule changes constantly due to employee vacation or illness or having to work past the end of their shift.  ePro Scheduler provides a rich set of tools for managing the schedule.  Here is a brief list of features:
  -  The Best Fit panel shows qualified employees available to work a shift.  The default sort order is hours scheduled.  If you are trying to reduce overtime, this panel alone will save you more money than the monthly cost of ePro Scheduler.
  -  The Info popup permits informed decision making by providing quick access to employee information (current schedule, vacation balance, qualifications, certifications, etc.) on all the scheduling panels.
  -  The open shift request manager provides approval and quick scheduling for employees that request open shifts.
  -  The Schedule Availability panel shows shift availability submitted by employees.
  -  Time-off manager allows for quick approval/disapproval of time-off requests (vacation, sick and PTO).
  -  Call Log tracks employees that have been called each day.
  -  The time-swap manager manages employee time-swap requests.
Scheduling Worksheet Screen Shot
The Scheduling Worksheet provides schedule management functions to supervisors, dispatchers and other personnel that require limited schedule management access.  Employee call-offs are easily handled on the worksheet to help spread the scheduling workload across responsible employees.
Unit and Employee Profiles
Schedules are created from unit staffing profiles.  A unit profile can be a fire station, an ALS/BLS EMS shift, a hospital floor, a department or anything that is scheduled on a regular basis.  Weekly shift rotations and required qualification are assigned in unit profiles.
Consolidate all relevant employee information into ePro Scheduler.  The Import function allows you to import employee information from your HR management software (PeopleSoft, etc.).  Employee qualifications are used to ensure that only qualified personnel are scheduled. Employee certifications with expiration dates are used by the scheduling software to prevent scheduling of employees lacking the proper credentials.
Full Reporting and Database Access
ePro Scheduler provides a full suite of reports that show the whole picture.  Roster reports with many viewing options allow the scheduler to get a full picture of who is scheduled when and where.  Payroll reports provide a full history of hours worked, vacation, sick and PTO deductions, and accrual and anniversary rollups for each closeout period so you can be assured that balances are being computed properly and your employees are getting paid accurately each week.
If a report you need is not available, you can easily download your data to an MS Access database.   You can write your own queries and reports in MS Access, Crystal Reports or whatever tool you have available to generate reports.
